engine woes

Hello everyone.
After a great summer using the 2000, including a drive on the hill climb at Carfest South, I now have some problems. Before I start to pull things to pieces I thought I would run this by everyone here first for some advice where to look first.
Last Wednesday after a quick trip to ...

Carfest

For anyone that will be attending the event..........
My Mk 2 2000 will be displayed on the Sunday in the Overton Revival stand.
I think this will be the first time any of the big six range will be displayed at this event.
If you can't find me by the car then I'll be at the beer tent.

Re: covet thy neighbours car?

I agree!
I have a series 1 e-type parked next to mine in the garage that I have to look after. The Mk 2 2000 is always my preference to drive when I open the doors.

ignition key blanks

Hi everyone.
Does anyone know where I can get hold of Union Wilmot Breedon key blanks for my MK2 2000?
My locksmith has tried the Silca type for the stag but these do not work. Any suggestions?

Not sure how it works but maybe someone else does..........

grinding noise help needed

My car has developed a grinding noise from the rear passenger side half shaft. I think this means a new halfshaft and the usual bits. Can anyone advise me if I'm right and if so where can I find a replacement? If second hands are available only then where could I get the re-conditioning done at a ...

NZ family 2000 estate

After my last posting and all the great comments I received, why not show off our family 2000 mk1 estate located in Auckland NZ. This was restored by my Dad 20 years ago from a rusty wreck of a car. It has since undergone some body work since but remains close to how it was finished then. The car is ...
