Anyone know anything about this car? MWB 941P. Is it known to anyone? Looks good on the photos. My mate is interested but not at that price.

Re: EBay - 2500S For Sale
Hi John,
I dont know the car, but on first impressions, the following jump out to me....
- some gremlins under the vinyl panel on the nearside C pillar
- no sill trims (an indication of previous sill work?)
- no chrome trim on the windscreen rubber
- on the nearside especially, there looks to be a lot of previous panel repair work (the saying more filler than in the Isopon factory comes to mind!) The f/n/s door is out of alignment, and the r/n/s door bottom is proud
- obvious repair work to the lower front valance on the offside
- the profile of the front nearside wheel arch is wrong
- wrong radiator
- boot trim looks tatty
- not sure why it has a PI vacuum tank..?? I assume the hose over the rocker cover (which isn't correct) feeds it?
- the lower front wing badges are in the wrong place (the fresh paintwork a probable reason!)
- mileage stated as 32k - I'd take that with a pinch of salt, especially as it has the wrong speedo fitted (should be a 140mph speedo - 120mph speedos were in the 2000 models!)
Personally, I wouldn't touch it with a barge pole. I know your friend has been looking for a good while now John, but I'd be looking elsewhere....

Thanks Johnnydog, I had spotted most of those. Strange about the Pi expansion tank! I think we will pass on this one.

Just noticied too - it's got the earlier fuel, amp and temp gauges - the needle on facelift cars should swing from the bottom!
Plus the choke knob is wrong...
I think you are wise to give it a miss!
