- This shows one of the 2 diff supports, welded to the fabricated cups at the base of the diff and going towards the existing box section which runs forward from the spring seat

It's back home! An excessive bill has been paid and it's swallowed up ALL of my initial budget which included roll cage, respray, new prop and tank, and will be stored under my carport until more funds are found.
I happened across a nice 1971 2000 which I bought just to give me the motivation (which went down as fast as my bank account!). Same old story, the PI was going to be the last Triumph bought (and the best I've owned out of 23 2000/2500's) and then along comes a bargain with an MOT!

Hi, car looks very good. Just wondered where the rear arches came from? I like the look of them and as im thinking of fitting a bmw rear end to help with the power from the rover v8 ive fitted, they could help with the wider track issue.

Looks great so far, shame something like lack of cash has put a stop to it for a while.
I dare say you are on the case but lots of primer and nasty weather results in nasty red rusty patches when you next uncover the car, been there done it.
Not sure about an answer other than non porous primer of some sort to keep the damp out.
If you already have something I'd be interested in what your using as I am trying to stop various thing from rusting as well.
