Estate car cover

#1 Post by Forkie »

So - i need to purchase a new cover for my Estate. The one i have had for years - which was a perfect fit, well happy with it - needs replacing. The company that i purchased it from no longer seems to exist - P.J. Covers - so over the summer months a selection of sheets are being used while i source a new one. Winter is around the corner so i wish to order one now. I cant decide which one though , of the few online. Just thought i would put it out there to see what others have recently brought/ have. My car is sat in a dry garage so an 'indoor ' one would surfice, but an outdoor one would do just as well. I just thought i would see if any one reccomends one from a current supplier.
Cheers, Nige.

Hi,
If you still have the old cover, you could take it to a tarpaulin shop.
Then they can use the old one as a template for making a new one.
Look for tent making. Sail making. Upholstery sewing. etc.
It can be custom made with zippers and even a window in it.
A quick search returned this:

etc.

I have a good estate car cover from Hamilton.
Fleece lined and breathable with underbody straps.
It is only a couple of years old and was used for my MK1 estate.

They cost over £200 new.

Sell for £80 plus postage.
