Mk2 beige material driver's seat

#1 Post by Phil T »

My drivers seat is now worse for wear, and I am looking to replace it or recover.

Does anyone have such an item or know where I could get one?

I am also after the drivers door check strap, if someone has a spare.

Not vinyl so I assume bri-cord.

How do I attach a picture?

At the bottom left of the script box, there are two tabs - one states options, the other attachments. Click attachments which opens ' Add files'. Click this box which then allows you to select the photos from your chosen location on your device, usually from your Gallery. I'm not an expert, but the photos need to be accessible from the device you are using at the time, or you can take them at the time you are making the post with say your phone camera and add them immediately. It should be self explanatory - if I can do it with my limited tech skills, then everyone can!

Glad you manage to load them!
Are they the original seats for the car? I only ask because they don't look like 'light tan' which is usually with brown carpets with the coarse pile in facelift cars. The other colour option for the seats with that carpet colour was the dark brown (was it Chestnut?) - yet they don't look dark enough on the photo. Maybe the photo isn't giving a true reflection of the colour.
Of the two, I would say they are probably Chestnut which has faded from the sun somewhat over the years....
I'd start with checking the trim code on the vin plate on the suspension turret.

I have a pair of front seats in the right colour to go with the brown carpet, both in excellent condition. Only selling because I have replaced them with Alfa seats in leather

Hi tadge44, can you email me on philat32@hotmail.com so that we can discuss your seats. Can you attach photos to the email, please?

Also where in the world are you?
