April fool!

#1 Post by Alan Chatterton »

Is it just me, despite reading Sixappeal when it arrived I was just flicking through it and re-read the 'codename wild goose' article.......,

Then it hit me!

Lovely bit of photoshop on the picture with loads of other hints......... All of which I completely managed to miss until just now!

Anyone else, or just me being dense again?

Nice one Kevin!

Don't know what you are talking about, Alan. The article was received from a well respected authority and published in utmost good faith    Mind you, the clues are all there!

Well, I admit to being taken in...........for about 30 seconds..........until I saw the AF1 prototype number, the proposed launch date of 1st April 1977, and thinking it strange that this hadn't come to light in the last 35 years or so !

Realised straight away, had a long conversation with Kevin the day SIXappeal arrived.
Didn't you think that the front end in particular looked very good though. Losing the SD1 front and putting in twin headlights and a grille worked well (IMHO)
