Hi all, this is a cry for help ! I am putting Mk2 doors on my Mk1 Estate and have found the locks/catches are not compatable ! Bummer !!! So I desperately need a set of striker plates (the bit that screws onto the door frame ) from a Mk2 2000/2500. Will get away with just the fronts but would be better to have all four.

I am in Hertfordshire.
Thanks . . . . Garry

Hi Garry,
Do you mean the bits that fit onto the B and D posts on the body?
If so, I should have some somewhere - I\'ll have a look over the weekend in the \'stores\' shed. If it stops raining that is.
I\'m in Oxfordshire.
Cheers, Mike.<edited><editID>Mike Stevens</editID><editDate>38974.5504513889</editDate></edited>

Mike,
Yes thats the ones, not the things anyone thinks of keeping ! If you do have them, please let me no how much you want plus postage. Have to stress again, must be Mk2 tho.
Thanks . . . Garry

Hi Garry,
OK, I\'ll have a look over the weekend. I have quite a lot of spares - virtually all Mk2 - from 30+ years of 2000/2500 ownership.
I guess you want all 4? If I\'m in doubt about fitting, I can compare them against the 2000 or 2.5PI (the latter to be broken \'sometime\' too!).
I\'ll keep you informed about progress!
Cheers, Mike.

Hi Garry,
I have sent you a \'personal message\', (assuming that\'s what \'PM\' stands for). It has my email address in it so we can swap snail-mail addresses...
Cheers, Mike.
