NEW Birmingham Group

#1 Post by Alan Chatterton »

As read in the latest Six Appeal, the Birmingham group is back and running!!

We haven't had a Birmingham group for many years, and Chris Allen has taken up the reins.

He runs a very successful Club Triumph/TSSC meeting, and since he has a 2000, and joined the Register, he has invited us to officially join him

It on the First Tuesday of every month (ie, THIS Tuesday) at the Drakes Drum, Great Barr (at the junction of Beeches Road and the Aldridge Road) not far from Jn7 of the M6.

Anyone coming, I'll be there, and try to be as often as I can!

Chris won't be there, hes off sunning himslef on holiday, but all welcome!

Hope to see you there?

Rgds

Hi There, 26 members with various triumphs and club backgrounds turned up for the february meeting while I was away sunning myself! The quiz apparently was very well received, no doubt I will get to know on the 3rd March.

Hopefully the snow and salt will not come back next Tuesday, so come and join us, you are more than welcome.

Hi guys,

Is there anyone that lives in or near Coventry going to the B'ham meeting tomorrow?
I want to go, but i'd like to drive there with someone as i don't know the way (will be borrowing my Dad's sat nav just in case!), and i'm wary of driving to somewhere i don't know in case the car breaks down (although she's been very good so far). Another reason is that it would just be nice to have a mini Triumph convoy! (ok, thats the main reason really!)
Anyway, if anyone fancy's a convoy from Coventry to B'ham let me know.

Heather.

38 members turned out this tuesday despite the rough weather, it seems that members are arriving earlier as I got there at 7.15 and was the 10th to show!
Unfortunatley the skittles night on the 17th March is cancelled as it clashes with the St Patricks night crowd, so that will be rescheduled for April. 16 cars are entered into Sandwell historic vehicle parade on Saturday 10th May 09. Do let me know if you want to join us just £3 for the day but you have to commit to being there from around 10.30 to 4.30.

Nice to see you Heather, nice to see a car in daily use.

Hi Chris,
Thanks for the warm welcome from everyone, i had a good night and the car made it there and back in the pouring rain.
I'll be there for the next one, and i'll be there in the estate again.
Cheerio for now.
Heather.
