Early Mk1 for sale

#1 Post by Dave B »

Come on you Mk1 fanatics, early saloon on eBay, knock yourselves out :)

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1964-Triumph- ... 258453cd92

Low miles, appears to be a minter, last on the road 1989
I've said it before, I don't know where they keep coming from !

You could spend that much buying, welding & painting a lesser car and still end up with one not as good.

Lovely example and it was advertised on Carandclassic stating was at auction last Saturday.
I was going to go and bid a max of £5k ( which it fetched) but it was a 3 1/2 hour drive and I thought it may have fetched about £6k.

Wish I had gone now but I would have no doubt been outbid by the dealer.......

Best colour on a MK1 just needs the Cactus roof.

Easily sorted with a pot of paint and a brush

Does look a cracking car though.

Or for a better colour combination paint all the panels deep brunswick green apart from three of the wings...... :)
