Wanted MK1 Heater Parts
My MK1 heater is missing a couple of the operating levers on each side, anyone got some spare?
I know it's a bit of a long shot, but just in case, it's for a very late MK1, there does seem to be differences between early and late MK1 heaters!
Thanks
Andy

Yep, mk1 heater unit is under the bonnet, mk2 is behind/under the dashboard.

I've a heater (leaking) from a 1964. If you can describe the bit you want you are welcome to it, if it fits.

Cliff, thanks, that'll be great!

Early and late MK1 heaters are (I believe) slightly different, but I think these 2 parts are are interchangeable, unless anyone knows different?!

Re: Wanted MK1 Heater Parts
Right, I've removed the bits. They are exactly as in your diagram, which I see is as pictured by Haynes, "Heater control adjustment". They are almost the mirror image of each other - a lever with a cam section on the end for operating a flap.
Both my 64 and 67 heaters have this arrangement, but they are not the same as Haynes "Heater components parts (early type)".
From which it seems that "early" applied only to 1963 and pre-October 1964 cars.
However Haynes "later type" is neither of these - perhaps it means mark 2, which is completely different.
Anyway, if you PM your address I'll be happy to post them off.
