Outer Sealed Beam unit for Mk2

#1 Post by Alan H »

I am after a outer Headlight for the Mk2. Anyone got one kicking about they would like to part with?

They appear to be out of stock.

Thanks Alan H

Why not take the opportunity to upgrade to stag headlights Alan?

Buy the lenses on ebay s/h, and then you can fit bulbs behind them to whatever spec you want.......... whilst uprating and putting relays in?

Means a £3 bulb next time rather than a useless sealed beam unit?

I am going to upgrade at some point Alan. Read a post about it. I have blown ( invested :? ) nearly £2k so cash is a bit tight until I can get the car MOT'd and sell the Reg No.

I got some BMW headlights and they fitted with minimal mods. The quality of the rear electrical connector was also miles ahead of the aftermarket H4 kit that had previously been fitted.

Quite a few vehicles have the same size headlights and might be suitable donors.
