I can\'t be the only 2000 driver who enjoys / owns other classics so what do you lot have? My own mini-fleet is humble and non-exotic...
1970 Triumph 2.5 PI Mk2

And I\'m lucky in that my office landlord is Rotten Bob Adams of Bob\'s Affordable Classics so there\'s always some interesting metal lying outside. At the mo\' there\'s a hefty race prepped Jensen Interceptor, a Renault 5 hillclimber with a Chevy V8 engine and a mint Citroen DS Pallas.

I\'ve got a 69 2000 Mk1 50k from new, dug it out of a breakers yard and spent 12 months restoring it for&nbsp;my brother\'s wedding last June, it\'ll be used for my own wedding in two weeks time!
1971 Fiat 850 saloon 58k from new, Definitley a Monday morning car, They forgot to fit rust to it at the factory!
1994 Opel Vectra TD with 206k on clock. Mighty car, it even pulled the 2000 on a transporter&nbsp;over 120 miles ,top speed 48mph ,after that it got hairy!!
Next project is a Fiat 127 GT ,again no rust but mechanically challenged!

That\'s interesting to me - how do you rate the PI to the 2500s? I\'m curious because Robson\'s book claims that both are just as punchy, with the same 0-60 time but different power levels!? I\'m not keen to swap my PI to carbs but I have the 2500s bits for a future emergency!

When I looked around for my X1/9 rustlessness was my no.1 priority, knowing the Fiat reputation. I got the best I could find but...
It amazes me&nbsp;just how thing the paint is on the panels, and just how lightweight the steel is. Fiat 127: by all accounts you\'re lucky to find a rust free one. My Fiat 127 wasn\'t *too* bad but for me that was over 15 years ago, so a dose of underseal and catalloy was considered sufficient ;-)

As a ex-pat Triumh nutter my current Cars are:
1970 2.5PI Estate manual overdrive.. Daily Driver
1977 2500S Auto saloon.. Daily Driver
1972 Stag Man o/d.. Daily Driver/ Long distance cruiser
1964 2.7PI Mk1 saloon.. fun car for motorsport.
Recently passed through my hands for work etc include...
1974 Jaguar XJ12 for which I rebuilt the engine (made me appreciate Jag engineering and Triumph simplicity)
1975 Rover 3500 P6.. rebuilt the heads and minor other work.. nice car (excellent ride and brakes) but Triumph PI is just as quick, has heap more interior space and handles better (less understeer).
1969 TR6 150bhp.. looked after this car for 4 years and it was a absolute gem. 100% reliable and bullet proof. Not a restored show car but an original unrestored , faded, rust free roadburner.

sorry - still getting used to how to work this. Although my PI is automatic and the S was manual I prefer the 2.5PI. Although I think they were fairly similar in terms of power -even though &nbsp;you can rattle through the gears a bit quicker on the manual I guess&nbsp;( not enough difference to notice)&nbsp;the \'feel\' of the PI is better. &nbsp;I\'ve changed the wheels to 14\'\' alloys. The 2500S was a bit vague steering wise which spoiled my enjoyment - it rode higher as well and felt a bit more wallowy in corners. When I get the chance (and some money)&nbsp;I fancy an estate

Ken,
You certainly have had a wide variety of cars! I haven\'t even heard of some of them. Who makes the Talbot?
My current fleet:
1968 Triumph TR250 (my baby. in the family since 1973, mine since 1985)
1966 Triumph 2000 (it was love at first sight)
1970 Triumph GT6+ (under construction as my first hands-on attempt at a restoration<IMG>. We\'ll see how far I get before I deliver it to my mechanic)
2002 Dodge Dakota Quad-Cab 4x4 (to tow the others home)
