I will be there too, from Saturday, to help Alan on the club stand.
Not with one of my Triumph, unfortunatly, because I need to bring back a lot of spare parts to France.
Meaning that, if a Register member has a good (no rust, nor damages)Mk2 boot lid in his \"shed\", please bring this to Stoneleigh, thanks, as I need one for my next 2500 Mk2 project .
Cheers,
Chris,
register French Representative.

Hi Poole,
Thanks for your reply.
Mine as a hole for a rectangular number plate light : I don\'t know if I can use yours ?
I will look on my old rusty one and try to understand where is the difference.
Cheers,
Chris.

Two different bootl lids.
Early MKII had one hole for one large chrome number plate lamp
Later ones have two smaller holes for twin recessed plastic lights.
You can convert a two hole to a one hole by cutting away the centre bit, the other way round is harder..........

Excellent, Allan !
I have check on my boot lid, there is a big rectangular hole for the lamp, you are absolutly right.
Why not use Poole\' boot lid if it\'s possible
Please tell me how much you want for this (MP please), or if you prefer, I can bring something (bottle of a french beverage ? ) to you, from France at Stoneleigh
Cheers,
Chris.

No Chance, unfortunatly, as most of my spares parts have been destroyed with the water and mud flood in june, last year.
I will keep an eye open for this, you may be lucky !
