Old member rejoining

Hi all,
My wife and I have just rejoined the register after a long absence. We still had the car just got distracted with a boat so spent most of my time on that not the Triumph. Still have now taken the plunge and got back to normal. It's a 2500S 1975 manual and we have had the car since 1983 and is nearly as good as the day we bought it for £1600 which was lot of money then, well it still is I guess.
I wont say any more about it as I have sent an article to the magazine along with some photos which I hope you will all enjoy. I have a few other articles that I will submit over time just got to remember to photograph these jobs as I go along. Trouble is it slows the job down so much taking photos. Still I will do my best.
Went to a local East Kent meeting the other week after joining and can tell you it was very worthwhile so I would encourage you all to go to your local group if you can, we were made very welcome.
Just got to figure out how to use the rest of this site never having joined anything on line before so should be interesting!
Kind regards
Terry and Maureen Storey Membership No 2799 (my old membership number in case you were wondering why it is such a low number)

Welcome to the forum and it's great that youir passion for the car has been rekindled.
Kevin Warrington, SIXappeal editor, will be over the moon that you have sent him some 'copy' and that you plan to send more.
Local area meets are excellent and with Charles Harrison down in Kent you are on to a winner.
Oh and welcome back to the Register.

Colin

Thanks for the welcome Colin. Yes well and truly rekindled. Going to take out the steering column shortly to replace the bulkhead bush. A long overdue job.
Kind regards
Terry

Welcome back indeed! I'm sure you'll find the forum new and exciting but at least the cars haven't changed.

Hmm. Not sure I'd call that a low number!

Cheers,
Mike.

If he had been issued a new one though Mike it would have been fairly close to 8000, that's probably what Terry was saying.
Membership numbers rose pretty quickly in the early days of the Register didn't they? I bet Terry joined when they bought the car in 1983. Still an early member compared to lots of us.

Colin.
