Tr6 driveshaft vs 2500 driveshaft

I have seen a nice solution for tr6 driveshaft with cv and a new hub (limora.com). I was wondering if it is possible to mount these on an 2500 estate?

Does any one have some experience with these conversions ?

Also Weslake has an BMW diff conversion for the stag.
But doesn't react on mine mails.

Who has experience with Weslake automotive?

They do an Uprated hub and CV shaft conversion

Tr6 Shafts are a different lenth than saloon

Hi Edwin,

as Lee pointed out the TR shafts are shorter than saloon shafts.

If you are referring to a Mk2 Estate you could use the CV driveshafts offered for the Stag which are the correct length. I am using these CV driveshafts since 2004 (approx. 60,000 kms) in my 2000 Mk2 Estate and 2.5 PI without a problem so far. These shafts were from TR Nord, a Triumph workshop near Hamburg, Germany. They invented these driveshafts for the TR roadsters and later on assembled a small batch for the Stag as well.

As far as I know, Limora initially distributed the TR Nord items but are offering their own product now (which doesn't necessarily makes it better, I guess).

Hi,

I found a set from limora Berlin.

I have mounted them a week a go and I am very happy with the handling of the car.
It doesn't tweak any more when accelerating hard in a bent and then changing gears.

I Still have a lot of rumbling in the rear. So that will mean another diff.
