New Braking Set up

#1 Post by englishbull »

Now no connection to me .................other than James being a good, knowledgeable friend for over 28 years...............

James ( works at TR Enterprises) as developed a new braking system set up and this will be on display on his stand at Stoneleigh..........

As said no connection but worth a look for those that fancy a "meatier" set up on their cars.

Can you hit James with a big stick at Stoneleigh and tell him to post those finished hubs to Oz on Monday morning  My brakes make the steering column try to leap out of the bulkhead and I am dying to get my hands on the finished alloy stuff - got the calipers and discs already

For those of us who won't get to Stoneleigh do you know if any details are available; I was starting to think about converting to Stag front brakes

They are the ultimate no compromise set up - more designed for motorsport / very hard driving rather than a intermediate upgrade where Stag disc and calipers and M1144 pads really work well.

Basic spec is:
AP four pot caliper 5100 range http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-gSCJcWFZ9hg/U ... 5100_1.JPG
AP Discs 295mm x 25mm - slotted and vented
Bespoke alloy hub and integral disc bell - anodised with Timken bearings fitted http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-Y5QKC0O1Go4/U ... 00/hub.png
Bespoke caliper mount - anodised
Plus bolts and aeroquip hoses and pads of your choice - M1144 for road or DS2500 / DS3000 for track

Many thanks to both of you; sounds like I probably only need the Stag set-up then.....Whilst my wife sometimes thinks that I drive too fast it's hardly motorsport! :)
