The current eBay listing appears to be fairly upfront about what must have been some pretty extensive accident repairs to the O/S front -- is that what you were referring to in your CT post?

There are other issues with the car,and I don't know how to approach the subject.Pm would be best.

Well its at £1400 at the mo, reserve not met, so someones got a value on it :!:
IMHO its not worth a great deal more, with the work/parts/paint/time required, but each to their own opinions !

But Dave..................they are becoming harder to scource and to find a car thast does not require any structual work such as sills is also hard. So a car that is "solid" IMO is worth £2k as sills repairs would cost approximately this..............

Yes Lee, I agree but there is a fair amount of work to do, which wont be cheap, unless you can do it yourself. I wasn't saying its not worth its bids, but the reserve isn't yet reached, and we dont know what that is yet.
Also you would have to assure yourself that its not Cat C or D recorded, as that would dramatically reduce its value. After all £3000 was a lot to spend on a repair in 1992, probably about five or six times its value at that time.

£3000 was a lot of money 20 years back and i am surprised the cars insurance would cover such a repair bill, there,s no doubt at that cost it would have exceeded the cars value by some margin..
just my thoughts,
cheers,
Laurence
