Goodwood revival

#1 Post by Peter Douglas W »

All being well no bubbles, no dropouts, we will be at Goodwood. Is anybody from the register going? We would like to meet up with any persons in a saloon.

Went this year after missing it for a few years— worth every penny!

Nothing like it.

Daughter and family live not far away in Chichester and went last year ........ they had free tickets from a friend!

Thought of going this year but at £400 for a weekend with the caravan - not on - prefer to spend this on sorting NAM616G my Historic Landcrab.

However if tickets at the same price as our daughter had last year and using a local camp site about 5 miles away price would them become possible. Mind you all the dogs would be a problem!

It's not really a camping type event unless you have loads of dosh — it's a bit more upper class than your average race meet — you can go for a day for however much it costs — worth it just for the day easily.

Yes, it is expensive. Where can you get such a three day event? There is something for everyone. Re-camping costs we had a very reasonable Hotel on the front, in Southsea. Think of the difference between towing costs, camping costs and making your own breakfast. All what you had to do was leave by 7.00 O'clock in the morning to avoid the queus on the By-pass.
