Hello All
I\'m just in the process of stripping the paint off my PI estate. I\'m using Nitromors and then a Scotch Clean n Strip disc. It\'s taking me for ever!!! Is there an easier way? Anyone got any advice please? I stripped my PI saloon in this manner and that took for ever too...
All the best for Christmas

I bought a Monti-power stripping system from Frosts. This is the one that won the best product in \"Practical Classics\" stripper tests.
It is a selection of wire wheels with special shaped tines on them. Works very well and cuts right down to the metal leaving a smooth surface for priming.
You do need a reversible drill as you spin it one way to strip, and reverse it on an oil-stone(supplied) to sharpen after evey 3-4 minutes of continous use.
Took me about 15 minutes to strip a MKI front wing from paint to bare. It also removes underseal, stonechip, rust and filler.
Excellent product, best available for doing a whole car (unless you could afford to have it grit blasted. Best option but costs about £500!)
Hope this helps

Thanks Alan
Sounds much, much quicker and easier than my method. I\'ve been at it for 3 hours today and still have LOTS of it to go!!! That is a big help - I\'ll get my Frosts catalogue out
Regards,
Brian
