CP Sargent wrote:Hi all its good news that this has taken off , just a few names that came to mind are "2000 Rescue " , " Save Me 2000s"or "Mk 1/2 projects " and last one " Save that car " , when and who to do we send ,give the money to if a car purchase may be going ahead soon cheers Pete
How about something like "Triumph Group Holdings" as you might want to roll this out to other clubs if sufficient space/costing is available.

Gosh, that looks nice. Pretty complete and original - except for the Mk2 wheel trims in the spares picture (and none on the car)!

Cheers,
Mike.

simon,

thanks for informing us of this one, looks good, what do the rest of us think, worth a punt ????

ive just got back from the nec and back up there on friday, and have loads going on at the mo, personal and triumph stuff, can i ask that someone take the " lead " on save our cars just for a couple of weeks just to relieve the strain at my end for a short while.

save our cars has been overwhelming and brilliant and needs to continue and will, for the preservation of our cars, im always around and checking in on both forums

many thanks

all seems to have gone quiet on the save our cars theme whilst ive been busy with other stuff, come on guys, i cant do everything, im a busy boy you know lol, surely someone can take up the mantle on this and gets wheels in motion to form whatever kind of group etc that needs forming.

this is a great idea and ive had loads of great responses.

i know we all lead busy lives, but this is important and needs to be sorted, surely one or two of you can get your heads together and put the wheels in motion, we will all benefit from it in the long term.

OFFERS ???????????????

Sorry LLoyd, while I would like to and have the experience to sort this kind of thing out (30 plus years of it) I am afraid that getting the Spares Group up and running with Dave Maton after the hiccups is taking up my spare time, along with having to sort out two cars for the RBRR AND my knee replacement op in February!

Think it is time for some other people to make the commitment and step up to the plate.

ted,

i think everyone would agree that you do more than your fair share for both clubs, i tip my hat to you my good man, MANY THAKS FOR ALL THAT YOU DO

and yes you are right and im in total agreement with you, it is time for someone else to step up to the mark.

as club members, we all join for many diff reasons, but the main being, to aid keep our beloved cars alive, SO COME ON ALL YOU MEMBERS AND T2000 LOVERS, PUT YOUR FINGER IN THE AIR AND BE COUNTED AND PUT YOURSELF UP FOR THIS CHALLENGE, pretty please
