Hello Charles, sorry for delay in replying but Christmas got in the way... :lol: I decided to go down the repair and seal route. Using a couple of rust removal methods, then the 3 stage kit using POR15...the holes were sealed with 'Quick Steel'. I know some of you will wince at the thought but hey....if it works, then that's fine, but if it doesn't then I'll go for an aluminium tank in the boot or whatever. I took the Strombergs apart and gave them a good clean, reset the needle seats and refiled the pots and all seems hunkey dorey at the moment. Just need to give it a good run now. Thanks for all your input fellas.... :)
