I've been a member for 22 years, mine is in the 5000 range......... So it is a comparatively low number!!

Hi Jan and Bill, Alan and Colin.
We look forward to seeing you in East Kent when you can make it. Its Ok for us we only live four miles away from the venue but Raingham is a bit of haul to Barham especially in the winter.
Kind regards
Terry & Maureen

Hi Alan and Colin,
I added your names to Jan and Bills post, no idea why. I guess I have lost the plot at last.
Anyway, yes you are right re the low membership number I was only dotting the Is and crossing the Ts so as not to confuse other members as to why their newbie numbers are so high by comparison.
I can't remember when we joined initially I will have to look at my old Sixappeals to see when I got the first one. It will be interesting to compare them to the new editions. I wonder if I still have my old membership card?
I still have the register badge on the grille and never took it off.
Thanks
Terry

Hi Charles,
Thanks for a great evening we enjoyed meeting the rest of the East Kent group. We are looking forward to meeting the rest of the members as time goes by. I have already got some useful tips especially re historic Tax exemption and red diesel info. I will have to bring a note pad next time. It's amazining the knowledge that is available and that was just one evening. I hope I can be of some value in the years ahead.
Kind regards
Terry and Maureen

Membership numbers rose pretty quickly in the early days of the Register didn't they? I bet Terry joined when they bought the car in 1983. Still an early member compared to lots of us.
Well, that puts me firmly in my place then!
I think I joined around Aug/Sep 1982. Wow, that 32 years ago!
Cheers,
Mike.

My mem no. is 1596 from April 1986....in relation to Daves number of 2035 from March 1987, that is 439 new members in 11 months!
The good old days, when big Triumphs were plentiful I suppose.....
