wtd: McPherson Strut tube

#1 Post by Richard B »

I am building up a replacement front suspension for my car and I need a strut tube, either a stripped or complete for me to strip. One of the tubes I have is heavily pitted and I am reluctant to use it.

I have several good used ones, but unfortunately due to other commitments I am unable to access them for approx 3 weeks. If you don't get fixed up prior to that, let me know.
Alternatively, if you need one sooner, you could try Andy Harrison (Exeter area) or Roger Carnell (Scotland); both of which are Register members amd usually have an abundance of used spares available.
Both are contactable via Facebook I believe if you don't have their contact details.

Thanks I'll try Roger Carnell. Andy did not have any in stock when I last spoke to him.
