It lives! It lives! Started on the button!
Two dribbly injectors, four with a good cone of spray.
So pleased. Thanks for all your help!
Leaky oil filter housing but maybe I left the old seal in as well as the new…in all the excitement…

Hello Simon,
there are not many better feelings than achieving something after much of a struggle.

Re: Getting cranky
You can sometimes cure the dribbly injector by re-seating the valve at the end. Just pull it out a bit (pliers on the pin there) with the engine running, releasing the pin may help it seal. Certainly worth trying.
Well done on getting it running, I hope you celebrated with a glass or 2?

Re: Getting cranky
Hi Simon,
That’s great news.
I’ve always found that, with the engine running and the dripping injector out, just tapping the injector on the manifold will often get it working properly

Re: Getting cranky
Indeed, the occasion merited and got champagne, it could have been a lot worse with a car stood for 20 years!
Will try tweaking / tapping the injectors.
