Is it possible / easy to inspect or test this valve?

Thanks!

Hello Simon,

its performance can be checked, but you need to connect a pressure gauge first to measure line pressure. The valve is adjusted by disconnecting the bleed line to the tank where you will see a Phillips screw head (Pump off obviously). Screwing it in should increase discharge pressure and vice versa.
If adjustment doesn't do anything it may be seized internally. It can be dismantled to investigate. It is basically a simple spring loaded pressure relief valve, nothing very complicated.

If you do not seem to be achieving the required pressure, the pump may need attention? It will never work well if the pump is below par.

Thanks Alec,

Tank back in and all connected up. Crossing fingers it will all work. The yellow hoses to the filter are the originals & I suspect quite brittle. Do you by any chance know what I might replace them with without breaking the bank (well, no more than I have already)…

I would try Chris Witor, but i have no idea on price. i think they are nylon but having a leak is not something to be entertained?
