Really daft question. I need to cobble together a button for the handbrake lever. I will make something, but just curious, is it common for the end to fall off!
Re: Handbrake
Unusual, in my experience! However, making something suitable that will stay in place, but also move to depress the pin might be challenging?
As your carpets are up, I would have thought it would be easier to fit a replacement handbrake lever.
If it's of any use, I will have a good used one.

Re: Handbrake
Thank you. Actually the pin is part of the old button so can be used as, well, a pin, to help fix a new « cap » on. I will try chopping up a rubber bung and gluing it on (not very elegant but might do the job) before I scrap the handbrake.

Re: Handbrake
Not too hard to remove handbrake. Have shiny new knob if the expoxy holds it in place. Sometimes its the simple jobs that are the most satisfying!
