New Forum registrations

The forum is being subjected to a lot of rogue registrations attempts. When someone attempts a new registration, that registration is held until I authorise it. In the last few days I have deleted over 60 rogues registrations in an attempt to try to protect the forum from rogues postings. I am therefore going to suspend all new member registrations for a while.

If someone wishes to join as a member, please email me at -

forum@triumph2000register.co.uk

I will then re-enable new forum registrations to allow the new user to be able to register. New registrations can be made by clicking the 'login' link and following the new registration instructions. Please note that when new registrations are disabled, there is no new registration link available! Sadly there appears to be no way for admin to add new members by hand, and I have searched the admin pages to try to find how to do that!

i hope this will only be a temporary solution, but please watch this space for more details!

No, I hadn't, thanks John, now corrected.

Since the minor stroke I had 2 years ago, my left hand is a bit reticent to actually do what my brain is trying to tell it to do - well, that's my excuse anyway!

I replied yesterday about the email address typo but it seems to have disappeared!

Basically I thanked John and said that I had corrected the email address.

As it had been a few months since the spam flooding of new user registrations, I re-enabled them last week and have promptly had over 25 'rogue' new registration attempts! I have deleted these rogues ones (and authorised a genuine one!) and have now, again, disabled new user registrations.
