Auto flex plate removal

#1 Post by Forkie »

Just had the call from Trans company - they are struggling to remove my damaged flex plate - bolts are out, but the way he was describing the set up is their appears to be some kind of bush, from the converter, then i assume through the plate and going in to the crank. He says it wont budge, and doesnt want to break anything as he does not have a replacement.. . :? I have given him CW number for advice etc but of course he is not able to call him now until the morning. I just thought i would ask here for any additional advice ....

I have since looked on CW website and he does do bushes , a few choices so i am not quite sure which one is applicable to mine - i was not aware of that part, so hopefully resolved, assuming they can remove the original bush. I maybe should of checked there first before the ' panic' message here but it kind of caught me out with ' their' panicked' call to me.
