Door hinge pin

#1 Post by herald1360 » Mon Jan 11, 2021 8:19 pm

Hi All
Both my drivers door hinges are badly worn .

The hinge (part that bolts to door) is worn, the pin is hardly worn.
Any suggestions on best fix?
Would roll pins take up the wear? or oversize pins?

Any help much appreciated

The easiest way to start would be to replace the bolt-on part of the hinges with some from a scrap door.
I see you are in Exeter, try Andy Harrison in Crediton, he breaks 2000/2500 models and has lots of parts for sale usually.
He is local Register group leader for Devon, his contact details are on the Register website and in Six Appeal.
