NZ family 2000 estate

#1 Post by overtontriumph » Mon Apr 07, 2014 1:34 pm

After my last posting and all the great comments I received, why not show off our family 2000 mk1 estate located in Auckland NZ. This was restored by my Dad 20 years ago from a rusty wreck of a car. It has since undergone some body work since but remains close to how it was finished then. The car is now in the hands of my younger brother who uses it regularly to commute to our family home in Taranaki (approx. 200 miles return). It has been fitted with a 2.7 engine running bigger carbs and a later over drive. Soon to be fitted with a CW exhaust manifold and Datsun axles. Our father passed away a number of years ago now and this car was used as a the funeral car for the family. The car has recently passed the 300,000 km mark and still runs as well as it ever did.
