Hello Julian,
I agree with Tony, that looks repairable although you may have to hunt around a little for an 'old fashioned' type body shop.
I would imagine you can source a new bumper centre section and I would think the quarter sections will be relatively easy to straighten?

Mick Dolphin had an estate valance last time I spoke to him. Maybe he has a saloon one too?

Those panels have stretched too much. It would be better to replace the panels. There will be too much bondo to look good. Bumpers are out there at a reasonable price. Although I have noticed its a face lift with rubbing strips. What year is it.

Hello Lee,
nothing a good panel beater couldn't shrink back into size, not an easy job admittedly but certainly feasible, should a spare panel not be found.

Hi Alec
You might be right but it might be cost effective to replace than repair. Good panel beaters charge At the top end.
Like on my TR6 it was cheaper to replace the front wings than repair. I have offered my rear panels for Lloyd to take patterns off. So they will be available for us all again.

Hello Lee,
yes, I know that that is why I said, "should a new panel not be found".

Thanks for all the responses and thoughts to date. I've tried in vain this week to get the valance from a number of additional sources, mainly from cars currently being broken up, so am going to have the conversation with the garage around repairing the damaged panel. Be interesting to hear their views on panel-beating costs etc.

Hi Julian,
I´m not sure how useful this will be to you but at the garage where I work, there is the rear half of a white Triumph 2000 Mk2 which was cut from a front-end damaged car. It´s straight and rust-free but would obviously require the valance removing/unstitching for you to use on your car.
I´m not exactly nearby either, but I though I would let you know, just in case you find no other solution.
Kind regards,
Martin.
