You need to teach some of your dogs to drive Ted!

Cheers,
Mike.
They can drive Mike.....sheep!
The pups Beth and Beckie are too young and won't have had enough driving experience, grandma Meg is too old, and I don't trust the driving of Katie and Ned........ We did have a picture of our Subaru Legacy with Meg and our old dog Tom who died earlier this year (the parents/grandparents of the rest) with Tom in the drivers seat and Meg in the passengers seat, both intently watching a sheepdog trial.

Just booked in two more Mk1s. :D

Hoping daughter, son-in-law and grandson will be able to come as well to camp. Unfortunately they come from the other direction, from Chichester, otherwise that could have given us another car!

There are still plenty of chalets left (although the sea view ones are going fast - there are some pictures of these on our Facebook), we only have 5 no. 3 bed statics left until we get allocated some resident owned ones in January - all the 2 & 4 beds have gone!. We won't be accepting any bookings from non members until the end of January to give members plenty of time to book, but I don't think there will be a problem catering for everyone that wants to come along.

Pleased there's been a lot of interest - it must be the promise of proper scrumpy!!

I've just filled my form in to post tomorrow - I've never really been to, let alone stayed at the National before, having had a pretty unfriendly welcome on the Saturday back in 2003!

Anyway, Mk 2 PI Estate and caravan will arrive during the day on Friday for the whole weekend

There is a danger of missing stuff on Sunday, by leaving Saturday evening Dave, not just the AGM nowadays.

Not booked in yet, just finalising things here first.

At the moment, the plan is for me to tow the caravan down on Thursday with the Triumph, get set up and sorted. Sam can then come down on Friday afternoon after picking the girls up from school (would be too late to all tow down and set up on Friday due to school and distance!)

Then Sam will probably head off with the girls on Sunday sometime, leaving me to pack up and come away Sunday (maybe Monday... we'll see!)

Of course, this all assumes I get the estate finished, shaken down and run in by then!!!

Note to self, this also means Sam driving my (by then 3 month old!) new car on her own (well, without me anyway!)........hmmmmmmmm, may need a re-think here!

2 questions:
What are we doing Thursday night then?

What's wrong with Sam driving your 3mths old car (better hope she doesn't read this!) and she does IF SHE PREFERS have the option of her Focus.

Thursday night, not sure...... what did you have in mind?!.................. but I like your thinking!

As for Sam, well, nothing really as long as she doesn't scratch it! This plan was her idea, then I began to wonder why she was so readily agreeing to it.

Mind you, its either that or she drives Libby down........... I guess it'll be fine for he to use the new Mercedes!

(as for using the Focus, free fuel vs not free fuel, plus it would double its annual mileage on that one trip!)

Rats. We're coming Friday so will miss any Thursday night 'fun'. Only staying until Sunday afternoon too.

Looking forward to it already. Must try and get that gearbox changed first though!

Cheers,
Mike.
