Alan,
I doubt that you\'ll have a problem, but if you\'re in the rocker cover, just check to see if the screw is tight.  If it is, I would leave well alone.
The S estate (the second one we\'ve had) was the subject of a prolonged rebuild and appeared in Six-Appeal sometime around 1996.  It was the main car for a number of years, but I to admit to not really liking the auto box (BW65).  The previous one was a Manual/overdrive, but that car suffered badly from the tin worm and was scrapped.  Since then I have learnt to weld!  (And panel shape, and spray etc).
We no longer have the auto car - it was sold a few years ago.  We still have the 2000, PI (probably to be scrapped) Stag and Herald, (which, together with the LandRover are being rebuilt).
And yes, the front garden is a bit like a car sales forecourt at present - and that doesn\'t include the Stag, LandRover and Herald in the garage!
Cheers, Mike.
