Yep, I've spotted another Big Six up for grabs, but I don't know what the colour is...

I'd call it Pond Grey Green....

Is the P reg correct for Slate Grey as thought that this was only available to 1970?.

saffron is an unusual colour. On a very nice car (like a certain one one here!) is looks amazing.

But, on a scruffy car it just looks crap.

Mine was Inca........... stunning colour.

I've never seen a car that late in slate before, its very rare to find an early mk2 in that colour, let alone a P reg. Id say its been resprayed at some point

I'm with you and Lee on that one Rob, slate is a mk1/mk2 crossover colour like Laurel, wouldn't expect to see it on a car later then a 'J'.

At £2.5k for a 2500TC I would expect to see a low mileage, full historied, 'shiny' car, with sill trims and a few immaculate interior shots. Looks to be worth at least a grand less than the optimistic asking price based prurely on the evidence so far. (IMHO  )

Id say its probably worth £1800 - £2000 if the condition in the metal lives up to the photos. Prices of 2500's has really gone up of late I think.

Im wondering if its actually Mallard thats faded and that coupled with bad light or maybe just a naff camera is making it look grey. Either that or it could have been a late car thats been reshelled with a body from an earlier model? Seen that before as the thicker gauge metal of the early mk2's seems to stand up better than the later ones.

I was just about to post my thoughts on it being green when your post came up Rob
I still think for a 2500TC, unless the 'lots of spares' include a pair of NOS front wings, this is a 'bit strong' price wise.

Quick blow over and under bonnet detail it could be a £6k car on a certain midlands dealer's website :!:
