The first cut is the deepest…

#1 Post by simon.williams » Sat Mar 15, 2025 5:48 pm

Cut off some of the sill and about 6 inches off the front wing. Not awful but the front inner sill looks very crusty and I’m not sure how I’m going to put new metal in there. Might have to buy a repair panel for the wheel arch as well. On the bright side I still have all my fingers…

I think I should cut the “lip” off as well (so the sill is flush with the B post), to get a bit more access.

Also, does anyone have any thoughts about how I can remove the old jacking points? They are welded in at the top and look very tough to get at (confined space).

Thanks you,

Simon
