Can anyone supply me with the dimensions of the inlet tract at the inlet manifold face please? I can see from pictures online that it’s pretty much circular, but what diameter is a 219016 inlet tract please?

A bit of research on the FIA’s homologation papers shows 1.25” diameter, but as it’s at an angle (9.5 degrees) the opening is slightly larger.

Thanks yes that would confirm the Group 1 Homologation papers, as they originally related to the Mk1 2.5 PI.

Follow-up question has anyone measured the length of the inlet tract in the cylinder head, from the manifold face to the inlet valve seat.

If you are wondering why I’m asking all the strange questions, I’m trying to workout the optimal length for an inlet manifold. There are calculators available, but there answers are calculated from the inlet valve seat to the individual runners opening into the inlet plenum.
