The TR5 it's PRV valve is mounted outside the car in the wheel arch and is hard line to this point, then a flexible hose to the pump Inside the car other end is the same. Slightly different on the TR6 but I've never owned a TR6 so not sure there.
If hard line is used note the cotton reel rubber mounts Item No. 64 69 (TR5 TR6 respectively) on the PRV mountig this soaks the vibration and transition to flexible connection.

Hard line with flaring the end option this is the UNF connection to the PRV:https://www.chriswitor.com/proddetail.php?prod=CW3423

Thank you for your positive information. I am trying not to use hard lines, Keep with the Nylon lines. If I can just find the 2 fittings that connect the Nylon feed fuel line, I will be set.... but that is challenge. On your comment on PI systems, here in the US, not many where never shipped here because of pollution requirement back in the day. Need to find somebody that has a parts car with the fittings....
Regards

Duplicates deleted. I wonder why we're getting a spate of duplicates again?

Cheers,
Mike.

Mike,
I have noticed that some times when posting a response, I get a large block of what I would call ''computer terms". The initial reaction is to try reposting it, but when you actually go back into the topic, your original and second attempt at posting it have both been successful resulting in duplicate posts.
Like I say, I am not a 'computer boffin', so I have no idea what the block of letters etc means. When this has happened, I have deleted my own duplicate post.
If I get it again, I'll screenshot it and try posting it for the more knowledgeable to fathom out...

Hello Brian

Steel to Nylon
https://www.dormanproducts.com/p-36895-800-222.aspx

Have a look at these you may need to ask technical about the pressure rating or there application. This will sort out the metering unit connections. I have sent you a message about the PRV connection.

I am also for ever deleting duplicate posts! Something to do with the delay in a comment saving onto the forum after hitting the submit button!

John and Charles,

Yes, I've seen this odd list of symbols and have also found that the post has gone through OK so usually just go back to the forum (after copying the just-typed text onto the clip-board just in case)! So far, that's worked.

We're still in Normandy and the forum does seem slow to respond but our internet connection is not the fastest out here in the sticks! Hopefully, I maybe able to try it from the UK in 2 or 3 weeks as we're hoping to get home by then (or 4 or 5 or 6 weeks).

Cheers,
Mike.

Here is a screen shot of the message I seemed to get reasonably frequently. It means nothing to me, but maybe to you Mike?
