Sumps

#1 Post by tadge44 » Sun Feb 16, 2020 12:20 pm

This may not be news but I have discovered that sumps do differ in size.
I replaced the original one which was well battered with a good used one but found the crank fouled on the shallow part.
Putting old and "new" side by side it is obvious that the old one is much deeper on both the shallow and deep parts'

I,m guessing that when the longer throw crank was installed it was necessary to add a deeper sump ?
