Does anyone have a recommendation for getting my head converted to lead free and perhaps a bit of tuning please ?

I have been delayed on the rebuild of my 2500 TC engine after a crash at at Snetterton in my track day MX5 but would like to get my Triumph on the road soon.

Four identical posts with a total of over 100 views between them but not a single reply !

Could that be because no one knows which is going to be the real post, and it's pointless and very frustrating replying to one post and then finding the discussion has commenced on another? :)

Could someone delete the reduntant threads please?

Maybe a bit far for you (Bedford), I have used T&L Engineering in the past for reconditioning cylinder heads and inserting hardened valve seats. Very good service very knowledgeable.

I am still ,very slowly , trying to get my replacement engine ready to instal.

When I came to set the valve clearances the adjusters are almost all the way through the lock nuts which set alarm bells ringing'

It seems that I have a 218227 head and need longer pushrods, the 8.3125 length which look like being very hard to find.

As this head was an exchange maybe I ought to go back to the supplier and get one more suitable, unless someone has a set of the pushrods that I need ?

Very reluctant to start stripping the engine unless I have to.

Bit confused on this post. Does not a 2500TC have a 219016 head?
