Saying Hello

#1 Post by calvados1318 » Sun Oct 29, 2023 5:12 pm

Hello to all,
Thank you for allowing me to join the Forum.
I am membership number 8112A-07/23.
I hadn't purchased a car until after joining, but now am the proud owner of a Mk2 2000, 1973 in French Blue.
I will probably be criticized for this, but it is my daily car, so important I keep on top of maintenance !
I look forward to meeting members, probably next year if the weather stays as it is.
Kind regards,
Keith

welcome Keith why should you be criticised. You will find the forum a wealth of information and there are certainly some knowledgeable owners have you joined the register? Look forward to seeing your car at the next gathering. Sorry just seen your membership number

They were all daily driver cars at one time , so nothing wrong in that. I remember covering 20,000 miles one year in mine when it was my only transport.
Welcome to the forum and any problems just ask on here.

Hi Keith,
Welcome! If you ask a question, I'm sure someone on here will be able to at least point you in the right direction if the solution isn't already known!
