Current mk2 project update

Hello there
To cut a long story short the engine is out of my 1973 mk2 and being rebuilt, have sourced an overdrive box which just needs a gearstick (anyone!!??), engine bay will have a paint and then once I have the engine back in it will go.
However..... I just missed out on a mk1 which I fell in love with, everything there apart from the engine and box which would have suited me as mine are being built
The car was not for the purist but slightly bastardised which I liked. Uprated springs, mk2 suspension, lowered, mk2S wheels etc etc, it looked lovely albeit in need of a little work but not too much.
So I thought I would put the shout out on here - if anyone knows of a mk1 without an engine and box that’s for sale please let me know.
