Heated rear screen fuse

#1 Post by Rutty » Tue May 14, 2024 6:37 pm

Can anyone tell me what fuse is needed for a heated rear screen. I have updated my none heated screen to a built in heated screen.
I have fitted a fused relay but am wondering what size fuse ro fit.

I fitted a heated rear screen from a Mk2 in my 1969 Mk1, and fitted a Mk2 switch which I mounted in a similar position to the Mk2 at the rear of the centre console.
I took the feed direct from the battery with an inline fuse, which I believe was a 15A, but I haven't access to the car at the moment to actually confirm.
That was over 30 years ago and it has behaved itself ever since with no issues!
