Mk1 windscreen washer tube routing?

Bonjour!
I need some help from my fellow Triumph enthusiasts please..........
My Mk1 PI restoration has been ongoing for almost 30 years and it's 99% there. However one job I've been putting off is the tube connections from the washer bottle/pump to the jets on the scuttle? Old age plays tricks on my memory and I just cannot remember how or where this tube threads through the bulkhead to the underside of the scuttle?
I've looked in the parts and workshop manuals to get an idea but no joy there so any advice or recommendations would be welcome.
Thanks in advance.....
Tony

Assuming the bottle is mounted on the bulkhead about 1/3 of the way along from the nearside wing, the pipe runs back underneath the ledge and comes through into the chamber over the heater, a distance of about 4". Remove the scuttle vent cover for access to the T-junction.

Interesting photos - unrelated to the question, but that is Bob Maddocks old PI, which he sold a good number of years ago. Had a serious corrosion issue on the bulkhead and inner front wings apparantly....

Re: Mk1 windscreen washer tube routing?
With the scuttle removed I can feel all around with my fingers - all to no avail.
The only hole I can find is the one shown in the photo that accesses the cabin behind the glove box. If the tube goes through here into the cabin how does it route through to the scuttle area? I'm pulling my hair out here - something that I'm sure is so simple but I'm just not getting it!
Any further advice will be greatly received!
Time for a cuppa I think...........

I don't know. If the washer bottle fits in the position of the one in the picture, as mine does, then the vertical hole into the scuttle chamber under the grill would be the nearest and most obvious route. Drill one?

That's my plan B. If there is no further advice overnight then it's going to get "the treatment" tomorrow afternoon! Shouldn't need to drill it tho, there has to be one already there but just can't find the illusive bugger
Many thanks Clifford........

My Mk1 not here at the moment, but I am pretty sure there is a hole with a grommet that it goes through. May have other wiring or cable going through it too.

Here are the coordinates - I've just been out to locate it.tony.rayns wrote: ↑Wed Nov 25, 2020 3:37 pmThat's my plan B. The hole is 1" back from the front edge of the tray, and 2" away from the nearside edge.
Mine doesn't have a grommet - the plastic tube is a loosish interference fit in the hole.

Charles,
Yeh...... could find a couple of grommets that take you into the cabin but nothing up to the windscreen scuttle.
Clifford,
Many thanks for the co-ordinates - job done this afternoon ta
