Repair Manual

#1 Post by johnfrancis898 » Sat Jun 12, 2021 10:21 am

I have acquired a really good condition Repair Operation Manual with my recently purchased car. There is nothing that can’t be found here. Even explaining all the VIN numbers and codes etc. No doubt you will all have some manuals for reference but this one is in particularly good condition. I am happy to share any info should anyone require it. The ref no. is AKM 3975/A.

Over the years, I have also been able to find good examples of all the variations of the Repair Operations Manual for our cars, some of the content of which is direct from the earlier blue 'ring binder' Workshop Manual. As you say the information in them is extremely useful.
However, I also find the original Part Catalogues equally if not more useful, as the exploded diagrams itemise every single component / and nut and bolt which is also extremely beneficial during any reassembly work and identifying parts / part numbers relative to the different models. There are various editions relative the age and different models - again the earlier ones were ring binders whereas later model versions were bound soft backed books.
