Triumph 2000 on new single cover

#1 Post by TobyC » Mon Mar 01, 2021 8:00 pm

Well, how to start ...
Email received from Milestone Classics to say a musician had been in contact wanting to use a photo of the Triumph they had recently sold to me on the cover of his new single. Contact was passed on and email correspondence ensued.
I provided a few photos of the car and hey presto - its now on the front of a new single !
Copy of the single cover as attached. For those interested the song is available via Spotify and Apple Music.
Andy M Childs has added artwork to the front screen and side windows and changed the number plate. The image was then made 'seventies' looking.

Here are a couple of links to the song :-
https://music.apple.com/gb/album/dreams ... 1555855141

https://open.spotify.com/album/3Oda80wY ... 54VUdqX1DQ

Is this something the magazine might be interested in for those not on line? Andy could say a few words about the reasons he wanted a Mk1 Triumph 2000 specifically, although the song references a Triumph Acclaim as lyrically it proved tricky to get 'Mk1 Triumph 2000' in the song!

Its great to see the Mk1 image being used and Andy has plans to produce an Album later in the year and intends to use the photo on the Album cover. Once social distancing restrictions are lifted we are talking of getting together for a photo shoot of Andy with the car. I think the photo looks great and a bit of history / interest added to the car for the generations who get to look after her to come.

I'm sure it would be an article of interest, and our editor Andrew Newman would no doubt be able to advise you.
He may well see your reference to it on here, but I would email him to see what his thoughts are -

What a great idea - that seems to have the makings of an interesting article.
