So. Here's my 73 Triumph estate. It is a 2000 model and has 86000 miles on the clock.
Full restoration done about five years ago. If any of you watch Car SOS then this is the Triumph you may have noticed lurking in the background throughout the series. It was owned and restored by the owner of the garage that did the rebuilds for the show.
My only plans really are to get it mechanically sound, I'd like to get it somewhere near tr6 figures 150bhp etc and will have to take advice on whether to keep the 2 litre and tune it or put the 2500 in. I think it drives really nicely already.
It definitely needs a new exhaust so a Chris Witor semi sport will be fitted soon. Have also read all sorts about air filters etc, obviously mine aren't original so if it really makes a difference to the original set up I might try and do that. Whatever makes it drive well really I'll look into.
Service and a tune In the coming weeks and enjoy it.
Hope you like it.
Joe
