registering on the registers web site?

#1 Post by TR7Driver » Tue Feb 21, 2012 7:33 pm

sorry to be so thick but I can't work out how to register on to the Register's web site. as you can see I've had no problem with the forum but I can't find anywhere on the home web page that states "register here" or words to that effect so I can't login. I did try in desperation to log on using my mebership number and pressing the forgot password button and in-putting my email address but of course it didn't recognise my email address 'cos I haven't registered. Help anyone?

Sorry, I might be being thick, but what do you mean "register" on the website?

You're on the forum, registered and logged in, so there is nothing else to register for!

Do you mean join the club?......... if so, then go to the top of the home page, get the "the Club" pull down menu, select membership and join online.

Hope this helps!

Alan,

Like you, I was a bit baffled by the question from TR7Driver (who is already a member of the Register) but then I went to the Home page and, sure enough, there is an invitation to "Log in" which doesn't seem to relate to the Forum.

I suspect it is for webmaster Allen to log into WordPress and nothing to do with the Register. Is that so, Allen? In which case, can it not be hidden from visitors to the site?

Incidentally, I'm sure others are with me in being very pleased that Allen has continued as webmaster despite no longer owning a Triumph. Much appreciated! :D
