2.5 MG Engine for sale

I have for sale, an early MG 2.5 engine with PAS and with a 218227 head which runs very well. This engine was brought from a club member and refurbished by the previous owner and fitted about a year before I purchased the car in 2021. It has covered 7k miles since then. It has good compression and shows no smoke or uses any oil. It has had new pistons fitted by the previous owner which he said were STD along with a new oil pump. The compression on all cylinders is very good. The head was also refurbished and the valves seats re ground and the rocker shaft was also serviced and cleaned. A new timing chain was also fitted.
The oil pressure is ok but could be better. The crankshaft has never been ground. It still has STD bearings in it. When I refurbished the front suspension I had the crossmember off so I removed the sump and fitted new crankshaft thrust washers (+5 thou) as there was about 15 thou end float on the crankshaft. So this engine is good for a few miles yet but would benefit from a crank regrind as the tolerances on the crank are nearing there maximum tolerance.
The engine will only be sold with exhaust manifold, flywheel and water pump. The engine is still in the car and available for inspection and test drive before removal which will be early next month.
The reason for sale is I am rebuilding a MM engine which is the correct engine for the car as I am looking to restore it to its original spec. This is an ideal engine to have as a spare or to refurbish.
I am looking for around £350 but open to sensible offers.
The engine will require collection from Berkshire. I may be able to assist in delivery.
