Hello friends

We did this event this weekend. It was my first Forest event. We was in The Historic H2 class section. 34 Stage Miles in 6 Stages .David Harvey was my authorised Triumph Service Department. The day started raining but cleared up as the day went on. Car not running well at all running tooo rich but we battled on. The car on the whole was quite at home in the forest and coped with the conditions very well I softened the dampers up a lot and it rode the bumps and ruts very well. The Stages was getting worse as the day goes on. Colin and Amanda came to give support and have a laugh. Car got better thanks to David but still not quite right. But we finished which was a bonus 3rd in class and 8th overall in Historics.

In comparison to the smaller cars, mk1 and 2 escorts and the subarus and evos the Pi just seemed to almost flatten the ruts out. Obviously its a much heavier car than they are, but it did look seriously good going around. We had a great time watching.

Hi Lee,
the Saturday before Duxford i saw your car on A169 between malton and Pickering you were in a layby, you were with support crew. i was in my white gt6 mk1 , I presume you were doing trackrod rally stages Cropton forest etc.

if you are up this way again in future let me know (near cropton)
i have 4 post lift with a jacking beam and we have some holiday cottages also
