Hi. Can anyone tell me if stag wheels will fit my 2000tc
Thanks
2000 wheels
Re: 2000 wheels
Yes, they are a direct replacement and bolt on using the same wheel nuts if you use the steel wheels, or if the S type alloys using the correct alloy wheel nuts. The Stag wheels are all 14", you probably have 13" wheels and therefore will need tyres to suit the 2000 to get the correct rolling radius.

Re: 2000 wheels
The other consideration is that if you are using steel Stag 14" rims, which wheel trims would you use? The only wheel trim that would fit properly would be the Stag rostyle trim with the oval valve hole so that the valve stem clears the wheel trim. PI trims with the round hole when fitted on a Stag rim cause the valve stem to be bent over.
If you are fitting the S type alloys, the Stag tyre size was bigger than the 2500S. I would suggest using the S size - 175 80 14; the Stag size of tyre will look too big, and anything smaller will look 'undertyred'. I don't think the 14" tyres will affect the speedo so greatly that you would particularly notice. They are hardly accurate in the first place when compared with the accuracy of modern cars, especially if previous owners have swapped components over the years.
